Kforce is seeking a Senior FS Java Spring Boot RestAPI's Cloud AWS professional in Jersey City, NJ. This contract role involves collaborating with global teams, developing software applications, and providing technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software development, strong skills in Java Spring/Spring Boot, messaging technologies, SQL, and Angular, along with required exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Responsibilities include supporting testing phases and driving innovation.

Must Have

• Collaborate with globally distributed product, engineering, and business teams.
• Develop software applications and provide technology solutions.

• Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Drive innovation, research, and technical excellence.
• 8+ years of software application development experience.
• Extensive Middle Tier Application Development using Java Spring/Springboot, Streaming and Messaging technologies (Kafka), authentication framework and SQL (Oracle preferred) along with Front End Application Development using Angular.
• Ability to apply standard processes in Unit testing, Automation (Karate), ATDD, DevOps, CI/CD, design, and code reviews.
• Required exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Good to Have

• Financial/asset management industry experience.
• Exposure to Blockchain technologies like Web3, smart contract development (Solidity, Rust), and cryptography.

Description

Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a Senior FS Java Spring Boot RestAPI's Cloud AWS. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with globally distributed product, engineering and business teams across regions which may include working across time zones and travel for business workshops, planning sessions and meetings
• Work with engineering and product managers, architects, team of blockchain engineers and Fullstack engineers
• Provide technology solutions by developing software applications along with demonstrating a solid understanding of the business functions for which the application is designed
• Display a full understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, development, system and integration testing, problem resolution and planning
• Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation
• Drive the culture of innovation, research and technical excellence to remain at the forefront of technology and thought leadership

Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent experience in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology and you want to learn more
• 8+ years of software application development experience, with financial/asset management industry experience is a plus
• Extensive Middle Tier Application Development using Java Spring/Springboot, Streaming and Messaging technologies (Kafka), authentication framework and SQL (Oracle preferred) along with Front End Application Development using Angular

• Demonstrated experience working on Finance-related software projects focusing on asset management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
